The Pacific Future Forum 2021 is the annual defence, security, technology and trade summit between the United Kingdom and United States of America, hosted by the UK government. It is one of the government's keynote events of this year, alongside the G7 and COP26.

The PFF will bring together political, military and business leaders, tech sector CEOs, think tanks, academia and subject matter experts in tech, defence, security and energy. The event will explore topics including how to reinvigorate our economies, addressing the problem of climate change, fighting future pandemics and harnessing new technologies to build back a better world.

Change of location and date for PFF'21

Pacific Future Forum Chairman Lord Sedwill today announced a change to the location and date of this year's event. It will now take place on board HMS Prince of Wales in Portsmouth on 20th and 21st October 2021.

PFF’21 to be held in Indo-Pacific

The Pacific Future Forum 2021 will be held in the Republic of Korea from 31st August - 2nd September 2021 on HMS Queen Elizabeth. The Forum will bring together senior decision-makers and thought-leaders from around the world including government ministers, military and diplomatic leaders, and high-ranking representatives from industry, academia, and the media.

Lord Sedwill Welcomed to AFF

Stephen Watson, Director of the Atlantic Future Forum, today welcomed Lord Sedwill as the first Chairman of the AFF at Admiralty House in London. Lord Sedwill assumes his new role as the AFF prepares to host its third annual Forum on HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH in October. Stephen Watson presented the new Chairman with one of the AFF’s coveted challenge coins

Sir Mark Sedwill Appointed Chairman of AFF

Sir Mark Sedwill is to become the first Chairman of the Atlantic Future Forum. He assumes the role as the AFF prepares to host its third annual Forum between the United Kingdom and United States of America to discuss defence, security, technology and trade onboard HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH.

Details Announced for the 2020 AFF

The Atlantic Future Forum has announced plans for the 2020 Forum, to be hosted on HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH on 20-21 October. The Forum brings together political, military and business leaders, tech sector CEOs, think tanks, academia and specialist subject matter experts from both the UK and USA.
