Rod Drury is Vice President – International for Lockheed Martin Space within Lockheed Martin Corporation, responsible for delivering sustainable growth through execution of an integrated strategy. Based in Australia, Rod’s remit covers all markets outside the United States of America. Previously Rod was Managing Director Lockheed Martin Space for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for execution and growth of Space’s business activities in Australia and New Zealand.  Prior to this Rod was Regional Director, Australia, New Zealand and Asia for Lockheed Martin Space.

Before joining Lockheed Martin in 2013, Rod established and managed several businesses across a range of market sectors including aerospace, corporate government relations, agribusiness and critical information security. He also spent eleven years with Boeing Corporation in Australia in increasingly challenging leadership roles.

In 2000, Rod left the Royal Australian Air Force following 20 years of service. His contribution was recognised in 1998, when he was awarded a Conspicuous Service Cross for ‘exceptional leadership, whilst Commanding Officer of No1 Radar Surveillance Unit, Alice Springs’.

Currently chair of the Australian Space Industry Leaders’ Forum, advising the Australian Space Agency. Rod has also served on the Board of the Space Industry Association of Australia, including a term as Chair.
