Heise leads the development and execution of Microsoft’s strategy and go-to-market approach across the global defense and intelligence industry.

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2021, Heise spent approximately 20 years at Lockheed Martin leading, designing, developing and deploying enterprise information technology and cybersecurity solutions for government customers across the globe. Most recently, Heise served as President of Leidos Civil, a corporate officer, responsible for $3.8B annual revenue with over 10K employees. In this capacity, she was responsible for providing technology solutions to major elements of the public and private sector. 

Heise earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Illinois and attended Harvard University’s Advanced Management Program.
