Michael C. “Mike” Manazir is vice president, Global Sales and Marketing, where he leads a team representing Boeing’s defense, space and government services portfolio in the United States and around the world.

Prior to his current role, Manazir served as vice president, Government Services Sales, Global Sales and Marketing, leading business development, sales management and market positioning for Boeing in the government services market.

Manazir joined Boeing in August 2017 after a 36-year career in the U.S. Navy. He began in Government Operations as vice president, Navy Systems, representing Boeing’s products and services with U.S. Navy leadership. In addition, he advised company leaders on Navy and Department of Defense perspectives, helping Boeing develop business development and technology investment strategies to best support this important customer. In addition, Manazir played a key role in Boeing’s successful campaign strategies for the F/A-18 Super Hornet, MQ-25 Stingray, Orca XLUUV; and the F/A-18 Service Life Modification Program.

Manazir retired from the U.S. Navy as a rear admiral. Highlights of his Navy career include command of the VF-31 ‘Tomcatters’ fighter squadron; USS Sacramento; USS Nimitz; and Carrier Strike Group Eight from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. He completed 15 overseas deployments, is qualified in the F-14A/D and the F/A-18E/F and has flown 3,750 fighter hours with 1,240 arrested landings. He also completed five tours in the Pentagon culminating in his role as the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Warfighting Systems.

Manazir is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering. In addition, he holds a certificate in business administration and management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a U.S. Department of Energy certification in naval nuclear propulsion.
