Paul is Head of Telecoms Payloads at Airbus, reporting directly to HO Telecoms Systems where he is responsible for the development and maintenance of world class programme line system expertise to design and deliver state of the art Telecoms Payloads, driving product development (P/L roadmap and R&D activities), process improvement and cost optimisation. In addition he recently acted as HO Onesat Integrated Payload Factory, responsible for all P/L aspects of Airbus’ new, innovative product.

Paul has international work experience having worked in the UK, France and US.

He has a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Johns Hopkins University, Washington DC, USA, specialising in International Economics. He also has a master’s degree in Applied Optics (MSc) from University of Reading, specialising in near-field scattering and a first class degree from the University of Bath in Applied Physics.

Interests include enjoying most sport either as spectator or participant. Running (slowly), cycling (road and mountain bikes), skiing (as often as possible) and spending many weekends at the side of cold football pitches supporting his son’s team or in hot, noisy swimming pools supporting his daughter’s synchronized swimming team.
