AFF 2020 was hosted physically and virtually on HMS Queen Elizabeth, alongside in Her Majesty’s Naval Base, Portsmouth on 20th-21st October 2020. In response to COVID-19, it partnered with Microsoft to deliver a ‘hybrid summit’ with both face-to-face and virtual interaction between international delegates and guests.

The Forum brought together over 800 delegates and distinguished speakers to explore how the UK and US strengthen the Western Alliance amid a world wrestling with a global pandemic, growing political tensions and strategic competition.

Alongside senior representation from 13 nations,a wide array of industry sectors, from defence and biosecurity to space and technology, were in attendance.
